Family Ski Chalets

Verbier is a great location for a family ski chalet holiday, Verbier is one of the favourite choices. From beginner through to experts, Verbier will offer your family it all. Younger children have the Savoleyres ski area, with beginners starting at the gentle beginner slopes and on the magic carpet, and then moving on to the drag lift and then the blue slopes.

Older and more experienced family skiers will probably prefer the Attelas area and its blues and reds. Either way, a great place for a family ski chalet holiday.

Ski Verbier 4 Vallees

If you are looking for a great place to ski, the Verbier 4 Vallees has to be one of the ski resorts on the agenda. Widely regarded as one of the very best places to ski in Europe, Verbier is situated in the Swiss Region of Valais and has probably some of the best snow and sunshine on record, the latter attributing to over 300 sunny days a year!

There are four main towns that make up the ski Verbier 4 Vallees network and these are Verbier, Thyon and Nendaz, Tzoumaz. Verbier is the more lively of the three but the others are great alternatives if price is a consideration and partying until 4am is not necessary!

With over 100 ski and marked itinerary runs (35 blue pistes, 55 red piste, and 10 black) there is something for every one. So don't delay to book a Verbier Chalet and have one of the best ski weeks of your life.

Ski In Ski Out

The one surprising thing about Verbier is how limited the ski in ski out accommodation really is. This said there are some great properties. One of the best is however in Tzoumaz, and if you are a family ski group looking for a great family ski chalet, or just friends who enjoy a few drinks, but don't need the hustle and exuberence of Vrbier Town, Chalet Auriane is probably the perfect luxury chalet to ski the Verbier 4 Vallees network.

Tzoumaz is a growing town that offers easy access from Geneva, and is part of the fabulous Verbier 4 Vallees ski region. Whilst the very young at heart might want to still be in Verbier town, let me put it this way, for the rest of you, does the one or two nights have a couple of beers need to be in Verbier, and could they not be just enjoyed as much in Tzoumaz? And if that isn't enough, a chalet of Chalet Auriane's standard in Verbier would be at least 10,000 GBP more, so my last question would therefore be, are the couples of nights out really worth 5,000 GBP per night?
